Illinois-Purdue: Big Ten Conference Tournament Quarterfinals

The Illinois Fighting Illini and the Purdue Boilermakers will both be gunning for a victory on Friday when they meet at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Illinois scraped out a hard-fought 64-63 win over Penn State in the first round of the Big Ten Tourney on Thursday. Illinois could not cover the 8-point spread, but the 127 points made it OVER the posted total of 118.
Brian Randle shot 5-for-10 from the field with 17 points and Trent Meacham scored 14 points in the win.
The Boilermakers defeated Michigan 72-58 as a 5.5-point favorite on Sunday. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (133).
