Oregon vs. Ohio State Sports Gambling Picks Preview

Ohio State vs. Oregon in the first national championship game of the playoff era. Oregon is (-6) with a total of 74. The sportsbook betting trends shows that Oregon is getting 63 percent of the betting public, yet 73 percent are betting on an upset on the money line at +185. Betting on Oregon will cost -215.  

Both teams are 13-1 straight up with the Buckeyes at 9-5 against the spread going over a whopping 12-2. The Ducks are 10-4 where it really counts, splitting the over-under at 7-7.

OSU gets a stunning 5.8 yards per rushing attempt to teams normally allowing 4.2 and 9.0 passing yards per attempt to 6.8, 7.0 yards per play to 5.4. On defense they allow 3.9 yards per rushing attempt versus teams normally getting 4.8, 5.9 yards per pass to 7.0 and 4.9 yards per play to 5.7.   The Ducks offensive margins are equally as dominating getting 5.5 yards per rushing attempt to teams normally permitting 4.4, 10.0 yards per pass to 7.6 and 7.4 yards per play to 5.9. However on defense they are not as impressive allowing 4.2 yards per rushing attempt versus squads that usually get 4.3, 6.7 yards per pass to 7.3 and 5.4 yards per play to 5.8.
